• breakfast & showers for all
  • completed chores
  • loaded library bags to return to library
  • put bags of ‘stuff’ into truck to drop off at Goodwill
  • dropped off bags at Goodwill then went inside to look around
  • hurt my knee while squatting down to check a price
  • bought a cute sign that says ‘Menu Today; Take it or Leave it…also bought a bag of 53 stuffed animals for the super-low price of $4.99-included 5 Webkinz, plus the kids each found a Webkinz for 49 cents; found several board books for Emma; did NOT find a playpen or changing pad which are the two things I was looking for.
  • drove to the bank to make deposits and get out allowance cash for all of us
  • went from there to the library to load up on books…found several of Ted Dekker’s that I haven’t read yet…can’t wait to get to them!
  • left the library and went to Chick-Fil-A to pick up lunch to take home
  • called Karl to whine about my knee hurting…he showed the appropriate concern. đŸ˜‰
  • fed Emma and put her to bed, then ate lunch with my knee up while the kids watched a movie
  • watched Life: Plants with the three oldest kids
  • created a list of subjects to cover for our next school year
  • ordered a science text and a Spanish curriculum (cheaply) via PayPal
  • started a Ted Dekker book
  • washed and dried the 53 stuffed animals we found at Goodwill
  • kids sat around all the animals and chose which ones they wanted…no fighting, yay!
  • spoke to the kids about NOT putting hats, headbands, helmets, etc. on their heads that don’t belong to us (found one of them wearing a motorcycle helmet at the Goodwill store)
  • Hailey picked out names for all of her chosen animals
  • Logan spent some time playing Ratchet and Clank on the Playstation 3
  • Corbin registered his latest Webkinz (bought on our trip home from vacation) and played on the site for about 30 minutes
  • Emma hung out with different ones of us throughout the morning, playing with her kitchen and toy foods, reading books, and just getting into things
A full day….planning to read some more of White Fang (no, we STILL haven’t finished it!) to the kids tonight, then maybe a game. Leftovers or sandwiches for dinner….and some reading for me once they’re all tucked into bed.
