A busy, productive day….and I LOVED it!

Today was quite a busy day. Hailey had her horseback riding lesson this morning. They were going trail-riding, so nothing to watch, which meant the rest of us headed off to the closest Publix for our weekly shopping. We swung down the baby aisle first to get Elle some Gerber Puffs (she loves those things!), then loaded up the cart. The great thing is that I still have money left in our budgeted amount and I am pretty confident that it will cover what I still need from BJ’s. That hasn’t happened in a LONG time!

Once we got back to the barn, Hailey was already finished. It was supposed to be a quick pick-up but I had some questions for Andrea about how her horse shows work, so it took longer than expected. We finally did leave, and since two of my children were asking for lunch, we made a side trip through the McDonald’s drive-thru. After we got back home and all ate lunch, I got the little girls down for naps and the older kids completed their school work. Then, we did some cleaning. We were able to accomplish the following by working together:

  • cleaned grout in kitchen and part of living room
  • cleaned all downstairs light-plate covers, light switches, and outlet covers
  • cleaned front of dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator
  • mopped all downstairs floors
  • folded one load of clothes
  • cleaned all window sills downstairs
  • prepared dinner…..Corbin chopped some of the zucchini for me
LOVE it!
