Our field trip to The Delray Affair

Yesterday, Logan worked with one of his Life Group leaders for a few hours, helping put up some fencing and earning some money for his summer missions trip and SLU in the process. Karl, the other four kids, and I all headed down to Delray beach to The Delray Affair. It’s a craft fair, basically, but pretty large. We thought we might get wet, and it did rain drizzle for just a few minutes, but the clouds held off for the most part. We had a good time, and came away with a few goodies and some yummies in our bellies!

Making our way through the crowds

Karl negotiating with one of the vendors….

…….for this.

Hailey and I visited U-Dog-U…..

……just in case we ever get a dog and need some ‘frillies’. 😉

Corbin got this boat/puzzle (I forget the name), but the boat is battery-operated and moves around the puzzle. Kind of cool…

I bought this book from author Ron Wiggins.

He was very nice and signed it for me……

as well as a copy for Logan.

I’m glad we went, and I think we’ll plan for a longer day there next year.
