9 Favorite Board Books for Toddlers & Preschoolers

9 Favorite Board Books for Toddlers & Preschoolers www.followinginhisfootsteps.wordpress.com #boardbooks #preschool

Over the years we have read a lot of board books in our family, and we’re not done yet! We still have 2 little girls under 5 and they have some favorites that we read together over and over. I wanted to share them with you, in case you’d like to try them with your little ones.

Silly Sally A ‘silly’ read that all three of my youngest children have loved!

Giraffes Can’t Dance This is a sweet book that encourages children to find their talent and not compare themselves to others.

There’s a Wocket in My Pocket (Bright & Early Books(R)) A favorite Dr. Seuss book!

Who Says Moo? (A Touch-and-Feel Book) This one is cute and Little Cow ends up finding what he’s looking for in the end!

The Snowy Day Board Book by Keats, Ezra Jack (unknown Edition) [Boardbook(1996)] My girls especially love the portion where the snow goes “plop”. Great as a winter read!

Owl Babies: Candlewick Storybook Animations This one is fun because some of the phrases repeat, and little ones love that.

Sheep in a Jeep Sheep antics are always funny, right? 🙂

Sheep in a Shop More antics in a shop.

Peek-A Who? This is the first book my youngest would look at, and it’s still a favorite of hers at almost 3!

These are just a few of our favorite reads. I may post more in the future, so stay tuned!

What are some of your favorite board books? Will you list them in the comments for me?
