Back in the spring I had the pleasure of meeting Leslie Nunnery at the 2:1 Conference in Washington, D.C. Though we only met briefly, as I began to learn more about Leslie and the Teach Them Diligently Convention, I knew I wanted to be a part of what she and her family are doing.
Today I am thrilled to share some words with you from Leslie Nunnery herself about the convention, their mission, and their faith.
Teach Them Diligently Convention is not centered on a method of home education, rather it is focused on the reason that home education is a great tool for Christian families. Our goal is to produce events that will encourage families in discipleship, home education, and the mission of reaching the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that God will use these events to stir a revival in the hearts of home educating families across our nation and that together we will see God do a mighty work in our land and around the world. We are praying every day that God will send in more and more families whose desire is to train up their children and prepare them to serve Him in any way He calls, and we are excited to see all that He will do in 2014 and beyond. Will you join us?
David and Leslie Nunnery are first and foremost children of the King. They are the homeschooling parents of 2 boys and 2 girls, who work right alongside of them as they produce Teach Them Diligently Conventions and run a mission agency called Worldwide Tentmakers. Encouraging families in discipleship and missions is their calling and passion, and God has allowed them to see and do so much more than they would have ever imagined. They stand amazed at the great things He is doing!
