Hello, all! Hailey is ready to offer her very first art class and is now accepting registrations for students between the ages of 5 and 10. If you have a student that is interested who falls below or above that age range, please let me know. If these classes go well and there is a lot of interest, we may offer more than one time or date in the future. Information about the classes is listed below.
Cost: $2 per week per child OR $8 (essentially buy 4 get 1 free!) if registering for the entire month
# of Students: 6 maximum, at this time
Class time: 1:30 p.m.
Class Dates & Descriptions:
Wednesday, October 2, 2013: Identify shapes such as circles, triangles, and squares in everyday things, and use them in your drawing! (pencil)
Wednesday, October 9, 2013: Learn how to draw scenery such as trees, bushes, and grass. (crayons)
Wednesday, October 16, 2013: Learn how to draw animals such as cats, dogs, and more! (colored pencils)
Wednesday, October 23, 2013: Experiment with drawing things you spy in the sky! Perfect your technique for clouds, the sun, rainbows, etc. (markers)
Wednesday, October 30, 2013: Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw buildings? Hailey will teach about the shapes we see and use in buildings and allow students to experiment using their preferred drawing implement. (marker, colored, pencil, crayon, pencil)
Please note: All supplies will be provided, but for greater variety you may choose to send your child to class with his or her own supplies.
*Parents are encouraged to stay and chat with the other parents during the class. Water and coffee will be available, as well as adult conversation! 🙂
